Rapid Fire GIF Set 4

Today is the last part of my Rapid Fire GIF Set series. I created the GIF's in memory of Brandon Lee as this past Sunday was the 20th anniversary of his passing.

If you missed the earlier parts in this series of Rapid Fire animated GIF's I made, please check out:

Below is an animated GIF of the full trapping sequence between Brandon Lee and Professor Al Leong from the movie Rapid Fire. Alright, can all the Jeet Kune Do/Wing Chun Kuen people identify all the trapping in the GIF's? :)

Below are four animated GIF's isolated for the individual traps used.

If you have never watched Rapid Fire before, I posted the Full Movie at:

BIRTHDAY: Happy Birthday Brandon Lee (February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993)

Finally a great inspirational quote attributed to Brandon Lee can be found at:

QUOTES: Brandon Lee - Imperfection/Mediocrity

Hope you enjoyed the animated GIF's as much as the fun I had in creating them!

Rapid Fire GIF Set 2

This is the second in a series of posts of animated GIF's from Brandon Lee's Rapid Fire. If you missed the first part of this series, please check out:

IN MEMORY OF: Brandon Lee (February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993) [Rapid Fire GIF Set 1]

The Kitchen scene:

Here are the above GIF's combined into one:

20 years ago today, I recall sitting and eating dinner with my family. Our TV was on and the 7pm news was showing. Then the piece ran and I was in disbelief. Thinking it was some cruel April Fool's joke by Network TV. That night at 10pm and 11pm, I channel-surfed through the various news programs and all of them reported Brandon Lee's tragic and sad death. I was still in a state of denial.

Finally the news sank in and I faced the harsh truth of Reality. Identified with Brandon Lee in a few ways. The most obvious connection was that we were born in the same year, 1965. Bruce Lee was an idol growing up. Showdown in Little Tokyo showed promise. Rapid Fire delivered the physicalness. The Crow was going to feature his acting chops. And then twenty years ago yesterday it was all over.

RIP Brandon Lee

IN MEMORY OF: Brandon Lee (February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993) [Rapid Fire GIF Set 1]

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Brandon Lee's tragic passing. In memory of him, I made some animated GIF's from his best action movie, Rapid Fire.

Enjoy!

BIRTHDAY: Happy Birthday Brandon Lee (February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993)

If Brandon Lee was alive today he would've been 48 years old. I recall eating dinner on April 1, 1993 and watching one of the entertainment news shows and they ran a piece on his death. I was in shock and disbelief thinking it was a cruel April Fool's joke. Needless to say, I was deeply saddened.

Happy Birthday Brandon Lee!

*puts left palm to right fist (ging lai) and bows deeply*

Of his movies in his short career, Rapid Fire was my absolute favorite. Below is a Youtube of the full movie! Enjoy!
