In this video, Doce Pares Eskrima Grandmaster Christopher J. Petrilli takes the highly evolved skill set he demonstrated in the best-selling videos Crashing the Lines and Cutting the Lines in a brutal new direction: knife fighting. The foundation is a blade form that merges slashes, stabs, cuts, and throws into a lethal flow of combat effectiveness. Taking the form piece by piece, Grandmaster Petrilli teaches the principles behind each motion and movement, showing a myriad of applications that can be used both offensively and defensively. The material can be applied to any length of blade, from close-range sword and machete techniques to lightning-fast dagger thrusts and cuts. Expanding the curriculum further, he also teaches stick and empty-hand applications, making you almost unbeatable in close-quarter combat. Whether you are armed or unarmed, facing an opponent bearing a knife or stick, this video will teach you a fighting system you can't afford to be without. For information purposes only.

Trained in the Philippines by Filipino legend Grandmaster Ciriaco "Cacoy" Canete himself, 8th degree black belt Christopher Petrilli has distilled his knowledge of Japanese aikido, Indonesian silat and Filipino Doce Pares eskrima into an elevated system of stick fighting that goes far beyond anything previously captured on video.
In Volume 1 of this unprecedented Paladin video series, Master Petrilli teaches you how to move from largo mano range instantly to the close-in fighting that characterizes Doce Pares eskrima. From there, he goes into sinawali patterns that show you how to strike and soften up your opponent, drawing him into the locking and throwing lines that will finish him off.
Volume 2 teaches different lines that allow you to explosively disarm your opponent and effortlessly maneuver him into the arm bar position. Then, proving that anything you can do with the stick end you can do with the punyo, Petrilli shows you how to perform the punishing locks, throws and chokes previously learned with just a few inches of stick.
Volume 3 wraps up with several more locking and throwing lines, going from over the arm to under it. Finally, he takes the stick away, teaching you how to do the same techniques empty-handed to the same brutal effect. For information purposes only.

Pangamot is the Filipino fighting art of unarmed defense against a knife or stick-wielding attacker. Christopher Petrilli gives you an inside look at a combat system that takes no prisoners, focusing his training on the "three Ds": defend, disarm and disable. When you're unarmed against an attaacker with a weapon, you must enter quickly to get inside the attack and stop him with a series of brutal strikes before he can achieve momentum. Then you disarm him, taking the weapon away so you can use it against him in a lock or a throw to ultimately disable him. For information purposes only.
